The Centre
Cambridge Centre for Sixth-form Studies was established in 1981 to focus on the specific needs of students looking for new subjects or combinations of subjects at GCSE and "A" level. The Centre occupies 3 sites in large Victorian houses which have been modernised to contain classrooms, computer rooms, science laboratories, art studios and even a small cafeteria.

Accommodation
There are 12 College houses each supervised by a College-appointed supervisor (often a married couple) and within easy reach of the Centre on foot or bicycle. Each student has a single study bedroom, but students may share a twin room on request. Breakfast and evening meal is provided, and the students' laundry is done by the house supervisor.
