On an adjacent campus to Bromsgrove School, the Lower School shares the estate and is set in 14 hectares of its own grounds with many fine trees and areas of garden. The Lower School began in the 1940's and the present purpose-built school opened in 1959. The classrooms are bright and modern and there is an excellent library / resources centre. Pupils are able to share the splendid sports facilities of Bromsgrove School, although the Lower School has its own indoor sports hall and an outdoor swimming pool set in a garden area where barbecues are held during the Summer term.

Founded in the Middle Ages, and re-established as a Tudor Grammar School between 1548 and 1553, Bromsgrove School dates back to 1689 on its present site. A massive rebuilding programme over the last 20 years has produced one of the most modern sites in the Midlands. Set in 40 hectares of tree-lined grounds, the school's facilities include a state-of-the-art library and resources centre, modern sports complex, floodlit all-weather pitch and heated indoor swimming pool.
