The School

Bishop's Stortford School was founded in 1868 in East Anglia and now occupies a fine site of some 40 hectares on high ground on the edge of the town, next to open countryside. The focal point of the campus is the impressive Memorial Hall which was built in 1921. Recent developments include refurbished Chemistry laboratories and Art and Design Technology and Information Technology departments, a new Sixth Form Centre, and all weather sports surface. There is also an indoor swimming pool dating back to the early days on this site.
